Job Title: Associate Network Engineer

Location: LATAM (PST required)

Duration: 6 months

Rate: $30 - $35/hr on w2

Summary:

Support day-to-day network operations using Juniper and associated technologies, focusing on troubleshooting, maintenance, and routine configuration changes, rather than network design. You'll be a key member of a dynamic team, working to keep our network reliable and secure for a medium enterprise environment.

• Core Working Hours: 40 hours weekly; must have significant overlap with Pacific Time (flexible scheduling)
• Required Languages: English.

Outline of Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Comfortable with basic network protocols, troubleshooting, monitoring, and change management tasks
• Hands-on experience supporting Juniper Junos OS
• Familiar with Juniper EX/QFX (switches), MX (routers), and SRX (firewalls) hardware
• Experience with other networking vendors or platforms is a plus (e.g., Cisco, Aruba)

Experience Level:

• 0 3 years in a similar operational support role (internships or contract roles count)
• Experience in an enterprise or large network environment preferred
• Familiar with remote troubleshooting and working via ticketing systems

Other Requirements:

• Reliable internet connection for remote work
• Able to communicate clearly with team members in English

Certifications or Academic Achievements

• Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA) or similar level certifications
