Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including payroll, banking, flooring, and general ledgers.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
Develop strategies to improve revenue and control expenses.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant state and federal tax laws.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with established timelines and standards.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer financial reporting requirements and internal control procedures.
Supervise and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with department managers to support operational goals and enhance financial performance.
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, financial institutions, and tax professionals.

Qualifications:

Automotive multi dealership experience a must.
Accounting degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a dealership or automotive retail environment.
Proficiency in CDK dealership management system excel, word, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
