About Us:
Full Blown Kustoms specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance motorsports AND Aerospace components. We bring innovation, precision, and craftsmanship together under one roof, developing products fully in-house from concept to production. We’re looking for a talented CAD Designer with STRONG Fusion 360 expertise to join our team and help shape the next generation of custom engineered parts.

Position Overview:
As a Product Development Designer at Full Blown Kustoms, you will create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings tailored for in-house manufacturing. Your designs will contribute to high-performance motorsports builds, aerospace-grade components, and advanced custom products. Experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and an understanding of materials, tolerances, and fabrication processes is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce 3D models, assemblies, and detailed technical drawings using Fusion 360
  • Utilize 3d scans to model off of
  • Reverse engineering of factory components
  • Design motorsports and aerospace-related components with manufacturability in mind
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, fabrication, and machining teams
  • Optimize designs for CNC machining, 3D printing, welding, laser cutting, and other in-house processes
  • Update and refine existing designs based on prototype testing and performance evaluations
  • Prepare accurate documentation, specifications, and revision notes
  • Support new product R&D and custom project development
  • Maintain organized CAD files and project documentation

Qualifications:

  • STRONG Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 (required) 3+years minimum
  • Experience designing parts for motorsports, aerospace, or similarly demanding applications
  • Strong grasp of mechanical design principles, materials, tolerances, and load considerations
  • Familiarity with common manufacturing processes (CNC machining, 3D printing, fabrication, etc.)
  • Ability to create clear, accurate technical drawings and assemblies
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Preferred: Experience with prototyping or hands-on fabrication
  • Preferred: Background or education in mechanical design, engineering, aerospace, or related field
