Full-Time Live-Out Nanny with Benefits – Madison, WI

Location: Madison, WI (near a nature preserve, quiet street with fenced backyard)
Start Date: Ideally July 21st; latest August 4th
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM
Compensation: $28–$35/hour based on experience (on payroll)

Full-Time Nanny Needed for Engaged Madison Family

An active family relocating to Madison WI is seeking a warm, kind, dependable, engaging and experienced nanny to join their household and care for their three children, ages 6, 3, and 1. Dad works remotely and Mom will be starting a full-time role in October . The family is looking for a long-term commitment with an ideal start date around July 21st and not later than August 4th.

This long-term, live-out position offers 45 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with hours typically from 8 AM to 5 PM or 9 AM to 6 PM.

The ideal candidate will be proactive in helping the children reach their developmental milestones and integrate seamlessly into the family's routine.

Responsibilities:

• Morning routine, including kindergarten and preschool drop-offs.
• Engaging the youngest child in age-appropriate activities.
• Preschool pick-up.
• Preparing and serving snacks and meals for the children
• Managing nap times for the younger children.
• Keeping children's areas tidy, doing children's laundry, and snack and meal preparation for the children
• Coordinating with a parent for kindergarten pick-up. Dad works from home.
• Planning and facilitating fun afternoon activities.
• Assisting with dinner preparation.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (a family car will be provided for use during working hours, and parking is available).
• Prior nanny experience is required.
• A genuine desire to be engaged with children and support their growth.
• Reliable and punctual.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Up to date on vaccinations -T-Dap (COVID-19 vaccination not required but is preferred)
• While swimming proficiency is a plus, it is not a required.
• Must be at least 18 years or older to apply.
• Must be able to show proof of legal authorization to work in the US.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive pay rate of $25 - $35 per hour, based on experience. Pay is via payroll.
• Four weeks of paid vacation, with two week chosen by the family and two weeks by the nanny.
• Paid personal/sick days (5)
• All major holidays paid and off.
• Healthcare stipend.

Ideal Candidate:

• Has 3+ years of professional nanny experience
• Reliable, consistent, and calm under pressure
• Patient and kind, with strong communication and emotional intelligence
• Confident managing multiple young children and sibling dynamics
• Comfortable with casual playdates and coordinating informal outings

• Open to a long-term commitment (minimum one year)
