Golf Cart Attendant
Golf course in Conway, South Carolina is looking for a Golf Cart Attendant.
Position Overview:
Guest Interaction & Cart Check Procedures:
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of golf carts with guests using a standardized checklist.
• Review and complete post-trip inspections with guests upon return, documenting any damage or discrepancies.
• Ensure all carts are returned in good condition, free from tape, decorations, or unauthorized alterations.
• Address and document guest concerns related to cart performance or condition.
Golf Cart Maintenance & Operational Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including but not limited to:
o Tire changes.
o Wheel bearing repairs.
o Battery testing and charging.
o Light mechanical fixes (e.g., brake adjustments, fuse replacements).
• Ensure all golf carts are clean, safe, and fully operational before guest use.
o Check exterior cleanliness and remove debris.
o Confirm lights, brakes, and steering are functional.
o Verify tire pressure and battery charge levels.
• Monitor charging stations and battery performance throughout the day.
o Document and report any recurring issues or inconsistencies.
• Notify the Chief Engineer or Facilities Manager for advanced or complex repairs that fall outside the scope of routine maintenance.
Coordination & Administrative Tasks:
• Review the daily report of inbound and outbound guests (provided by management) to prepare carts accordingly.
• Maintain accurate logs for inspection sheets, maintenance records, and incident reports.
• Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Front Desk, Facilities) for special cart requests or large group bookings.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Preferred:
Prior experience in maintenance or equipment inspection role.
Experience interacting with guests or customers in a service-oriented environment.
Compensation:
$14.00 per hour.
