Job Summary: RoadRunner is dedicated to accelerating the road to Zero Waste through sustainable waste operations and innovative technology. As a QA Analyst, you'll ensure exceptional quality in web and mobile applications by collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to identify and resolve defects, ultimately delivering high-quality software that exceeds user expectations. Responsibilities: • Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the product • Identifies appropriate parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. • Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines • Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects. • When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects to Product, Design, and Engineers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates Qualifications: Required: • 1-3 years of professional testing experience and a desire to stretch your skillset. • Attention to detail and the ability to identify common (happy path) and uncommon (edge case) user flows. • Experience creating test cases and building testing process from the ground up. • The agility to plan and test products for different types of users, across different interfaces and devices. • An ability to navigate a heavy workload and prioritize tasks based on the company's overall need. • A good-natured spirit and a voracious appetite for your work. • Enthusiasm for our sustainability driven mission. • Self-Driven and able to work autonomously. • Experience in the Agile Methodology for project management. • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders to balance customer needs with business strategy. • Detail oriented, possess excellent organizational skills, and have an eagerness to learn current and future business processes. • Ability to prioritize tasks based on the changing needs of the business and deadlines. • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills. • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership. • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details. • Strong verbal and written communication skills is dynamic and can capture a group's interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view. • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision. • Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs. • Strong analytical and problem solving. Solid decision making in a timely manner. • Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED Preferred: • Experience working on a product team in a fast-growing environment. • Experience using test management software (e.g. Qase.io) is desirable. • Familiarity with reading and/or writing automated tests (e.g. Playwright, Cypress, Capybara) is a plus.
