The Wall Street Hotel is hiring a Lead Pastry Line Cook to join our award-winning team. This role works closely with our Executive Chef and Corporate Pastry Chef to deliver a refined, seasonal dessert program that reflects our commitment to flavor, technique, and hospitality.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their station, and brings care and consistency to every plate.
Responsibilities:
Execute daily mise en place for plated desserts and morning pastries
Lead dinner service on the pastry station with precision and efficiency
Oversee production of and produce creams, sauces, jams, choux, and other core pastry components
Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe work environment
Support ordering, inventory, and production scheduling
Communicate proactively with chefs and support team training when needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
Strong technical foundation: choux, creams, chocolate, meringues
Attention to detail in shaping, finishing, and plating
Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently under pressure
Team-oriented with clear communication and a positive attitude
Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays
Knowledge of food safety and proper storage practices
