Location: Mama’s Java Cafe – Nolensville, TN

Position Type: Part-Time | Flexible Schedule I Possible Full-Time

Shifts: Breakfast & Lunch Only – No Late Nights!

The Role: Line Cook (a.k.a. Kitchen Maestro)

We’re looking for someone who’s confident behind the line, moves with purpose, and thrives in a team-first culture. You’ll work closely with our tight-knit crew to prepare made-to-order meals that match the quality of our signature coffees.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing breakfast and lunch dishes to order (no fryers, just fresh)
• Collaborating with teammates on online, in-house, and drive-thru orders
• Maintaining an organized and sanitized kitchen space
• Rotating stock and tracking ingredient freshness
• Communicating with leadership on inventory and prep
• Supporting our young staff and setting a great example

Who We’re Looking For

• Prior experience in a café or breakfast/lunch kitchen
• Solid communication and time management skills
• Ability to work fast with quality and heart
• Willingness to train younger team members and build up those around you
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Availability to work early or mid-day shifts

Mama's Java Cafe is a locally owned and family run cafe in Nolensville, TN. After Mark and Melissa Hall moved from Seattle to the small town of Nolensville, Mama's Java was established and opened in January 2010. Standing for the family: Mark - Anthony - Melissa - Alexis - Ashton & Aleczander (MAMA's) which has always been the driving force behind MJ's. They grew their business rooted in the same town they have raised their four kids. Priding themselves on offering made to order food and drinks and specialty air-roasted coffee roasted in house behind glass which Mark does when not working for Franklin Fire Dept. - MJ Roasting Co. Offering over 40 different flavored coffee (including Tennessee Chocolate Whiskey every Wednesday and Southern Pecan every Saturday) along with single origin & endless blends.
