Responsibilities
A reputable medical center in southern New Hampshire that has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage in their Level II NICU.
Opportunity Details:
Schedule: 7a-7a or 7p-7a, specific dates
Setting: Level II NICU, 8 beds
Daily Volume: 3-8 patients
Support Staff: MD, APP, nursing RT
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses

Qualifications

Board Certified
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health (NIH)
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
Active unencumbered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Massachusetts state license
Graduate from a fully accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
One year of work experience as a NICU NP or PA
One year of EMR experience

Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.
Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
