LawyerLisa is looking for a talented Marketing Coordinator to build our brand in the coastal South Carolina region (Bluffton, Charleston, Myrtle Beach). Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination:
  • Help plan and execute educational seminars, webinars, and client outreach events aimed at educating seniors on elder law topics with a focus primarily, but not exclusively, on the Charleston and Bluffton events. This includes planning and executing setup, PowerPoints, handouts, catering, and supply ordering. Additionally, you will manage post-event follow-up and ensure attendee engagement.
  • Send text reminders and confirmations for all firm-hosted events.
  • Help coordinate and promote future Prevention Planning events.
  • Support the marketing calendar and event schedule; ensure team members are prepared and equipped.
  • Community Outreach and Networking: Develop and foster relationships with referral sources such as financial advisors, healthcare providers, retirement communities, and local organizations. Attend local networking functions, expos, and community events.
  • Content Creation: Assist with creating content for articles, newsletters, social media, and presentations with a focus on relevant topics such as estate planning, Medicaid, long-term care, and guardianship. Help create and coordinate event-specific graphics and collateral.
  • Community Relations:
  • Help prepare silent auction donations and welcome baskets for new team members.
  • Send referral thank you notes and condolence cards.

· Brand Management: Oversee the firm’s branding efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across all platforms and materials, both online and offline.

· Client Engagement: Work closely with other teams to develop strategies for retaining
clients and building long-term relationships.

· Public Relations: Help develop and maintain a positive public image for the firm, leveraging media relations, press releases, and interviews as needed.

· Compliance: Help ensure all marketing and advertising efforts comply with legal industry regulations and ethical standards, including those specific to elder law.

· Supporting the Marketing Director in various other activities as appropriate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • 2+ years of marketing or event coordination experience.
  • Ability to travel within assigned regions and occasionally assist in other markets.

Skills and Abilities :

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency in response, but display grace under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a professional and polished, client-friendly demeanor.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, SEO, social media, and content marketing strategies.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement creative marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

· Familiarity with Canva. Adobe Illustrator a plus. Graphic design or multimedia experience (can be a plus for content creation).

  • Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM software, and website analytics.

· Familiarity with legal marketing ethics and compliance guidelines a plus.

· Understanding of elder law topics like Medicaid planning, long-term care, guardianship, and estate planning.

Work Environment :

  • Remote.
  • Full-time position with standard office hours. Occasional travel to offices and events as needed.

Salary Range: $50,000-60,000
