• Physicians in Practice: 6 Neurosurgeons
• Required Procedures:
  • Adult & trauma Neurosurg cases, tumor removal, brain bleed stoppage, trauma repair
  • Shunt insertion/revision, cranial burr holes, intracranial pressure monitor or insertion of, intracranial hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, neurocritical conditions.
  • Ventricular taps, ventriculoperitoneal shunt/taps/reprogramming, ventriculostomy, diskectomy, laminectomy, spinal fusion
  • Spine stabilization & reconstruction, placement of arterial & venous access, administration of vasoactive/sedating substances, lumbar puncture, placement of lumbar drains.
  • CSF sampling from shunts/external ventricular drains, EEG interpretation, mgmt & interpretation of ICP & CCP data, external ventricular drain mgmt, application & mgmt of hypothermia.
• Trauma Level: I
• No. of ORs: 12
• EMR: Epic
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active CO License
• BC
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS
• COVID vaccination report
• Able to provide weekend coverage
