Life Sciences Patent Associate (Junior to Mid-Level)

Base Annual Salary: $215,000 – $300,000
Our client, one of the most prestigious law firms in the world, is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to join its highly regarded Life Sciences Patent Practice in Boston.
About the Role:
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with innovative clients in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries . The associate will support a wide range of intellectual property matters, including:
Managing and developing global patent portfolios
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications
Performing freedom-to-operate, patentability, and invalidity analyses
Assisting with IP due diligence for corporate transactions
Supporting post-grant proceedings, IP counseling, and litigation
Qualifications:
Background in Biology, Chemistry, or a related life sciences field; Ph.D. strongly preferred
1–4 years of relevant experience at a top law firm or boutique IP firm
Strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific documents
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proactive, team-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding academic credentials from a respected law school
