We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine Specialist to provide comprehensive pulmonary and critical care services in both inpatient and outpatient settings . This is a key full-time position responsible for the complete evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex respiratory and critical conditions.
This role encompasses both subspecialties, focusing on expert consultation and ongoing care:
Pulmonary Care: Provide consultation and long-term management for a wide range of pulmonary disorders, including:
Asthma and COPD
Interstitial Lung Disease
Pulmonary Hypertension
Other complex lung conditions
Critical Care: Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds in the ICU , providing expert critical care management.
Diagnostics: Perform and interpret pulmonary function tests and other necessary diagnostic procedures.
Collaboration: Collaborate extensively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff.
Quality & Education: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.
Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in NYS or eligibility to obtain one.
Certification: Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine Critical Care.
DEA: Valid DEA license.
Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Education: Minimum Education: Doctorate Degree (MD/DO).
