QA/QC Technician

Location: Huntington Beach, CA

Pay: $19.00/hour

Schedule: 1st Shift

Overview:

Eastridge has partnered with a respected medical device testing company in Huntington Beach seeking to hire a QA/QC Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented and reliable, with a background in medical packaging, quality inspection, or a similar regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality inspections and in-process checks of sterile barrier packaging, seal integrity, label placement, and packaging components
• Conduct packaging testing, including drop, compression, vibration, and secondary drop testing
• Verify compliance with specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements
• Accurately document inspection results in QA forms and digital systems
• Review batch records, packaging documentation, and certificates of compliance
• Support investigations of non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain a compliant and audit-ready laboratory and packaging environment
• Assist with equipment calibration checks
• Communicate quality concerns clearly across teams

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience in medical packaging, medical device, or pharmaceutical environments
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, technical drawings, and quality documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general data entry
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, regulated setting
