Job Description
Large managed care company is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support its busy Outpatient Clinic . This role involves working across Family Care, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, and Assessment units, providing direct patient care to both adults and pediatric populations . Strong triage skills and flexibility to float to other clinic locations are essential.
WORK LOCATION: 1100 Park Pl Ste 100, San Mateo, CA 94403
PAY: $50.00
CONTRACT DATES: 8/4/25 - 11/15//25
HOURS: Day – 3x8-Hour Shifts (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient triage (phone/in-person)
- Medication reconciliation
- Interpretation of lab results
- Patient history, allergy, and vitals documentation
- Set up and assist with minor procedures using aseptic/sterile technique
- Specimen collection: throat, urine, capillary, venipuncture
- Telephone triage and follow-up calls
- Manage pharmacy/patient refill requests
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active CA RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- 2+ years of experience in an outpatient clinic or ER
- 1+ year working with both adult and pediatric patients
- Strong triage background
- 3+ years Outpatient Primary Care experience preferred
- Pediatric phlebotomy experience preferred
- ER or Urgent Care background preferred
- COVID-19 Vaccine + Booster required ( Medical/religious exemptions accepted per facility policy)
