Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse – Long Term Care
Duration: 13 weeks contract (Extendable)
Work Location: Montour Falls, NY
Shift Timing: 5x8 Days (5 shifts per week, 8 hours each) — 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Pay:
- Travel rate: $2,500 weekly (includes stipend)
- Local rate: $2,100 weekly
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Ability to work independently and provide compassionate care to residents
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care facility in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor, assess, and document residents’ conditions and responses to care
- Coordinate care with physicians, nursing assistants, and other healthcare team members
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and quality standards
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and reports
